Description

Partly funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, the project started in May 2018 and ended in 2020, developing on smart contract and blockchain technologies, capable of ensuring compliance with strict security standards, according to the principles of transparency towards users and encryption of sensitive data.

Objectives achieved

The MEF coordinated a consortium of ten European partners from seven countries (Austria, Spain, France, Belgium, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Italy). At the end of the project, the platform was integrated into the NoiPA system, which, as a manager of large amounts of personal data, serves as a concrete example of the tool's valuable benefits.
