Description

GLACIATION aims to develop a platform that reduces the consumption of energy required for data processing and analysis by distributing operations along an edge-core-cloud structure. The proper allocation of data is supported by an artificial intelligence (AI) system to minimize handling operations while reducing energy requirements, while also maintaining high standards of security, accuracy, and privacy protection.

The role of MEF

MEF is the project coordinator and is responsible for one of the 4 use cases, which, by optimizing the flows and communications managed through the NoiPA platform, will reduce data movement and resource utilization at the central level.
